Oliver established in 1921 was planned as a settlement for veterans of WW I. Today it is a thriving community built around vineyards, tree fruits and tourism. It boasts one of the most popular golf courses in BC, "Fairview Mountain". Oliver has tremendous recreation facilities and a wonderful Heritage Society Museum.
