Osoyoos is a popular US border crossing and summer vacation area. It is situated at the intersection of Hi-way 3 and 97c. It is famous for tree fruits in particular, peaches and apricots. It boasts some of the hottest temperatures in Canada in July and August and has Canada's warmest lake, Lake Osoyoos. Situated in Canada's only true desert, it is the home of many rare and unique plants and animals. Great golf and restaurants!
